Fresh Rescue Kitchen

Welcome to Our Community Kitchen! We are a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding the homeless and supporting our community through various food programs.

Our Mission

Feeding the Homeless We prepare and transport hot meals to the Angel Room, where we serve those in need on specific days. For more information about the Angel Room, please visit their page.

Additional Services

Food Reclamation We reclaim donated food from local restaurants, which our volunteers then prepare into family-friendly portions. These meals are distributed to families in need through the Food Bank at St. Vincent de Paul.

Facility Rental Our kitchen is available for community rental. It features:

• A 6-star gas burner
• Double convection oven
• Walk-in freezer and cooler
• 3-compartment sink
• Food preparation equipment (limited utensils)

Note: All equipment must remain in the building. A signed contract and reservation are required. Some permits or licenses may be needed for special cooking activities.

Educational Programs

Healthy Eating Classes We also want to help the community learn about healthy eating. This includes preparing food that picky eaters will enjoy and that is healthier for them. We aim to provide guidance on cooking meals for various health conditions, such as Diabetes, Crohn’s, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, and Vegetarian diets.

If you are interested in providing some of these classes, please reach out to us. Together, we can inspire others to develop new cooking skills. We have a classroom within the building that is perfect for teaching these classes before moving into the kitchen.
